CALA DEL GESSO

In the first stretch of coast up to Cala di Gesso you will find many villas and cottages hidden in the nature and affording you to have some paths to reach the beach. Proceeding along this trail, this side of Monte Argentario becomes very steep, and it is very difficult to reach the beach by land. However if you are on your boat, you can enjoy this place usually not well frequented.

How to get there: come to Km "5 +900" of the Via Panoramica (Provincial Road 65) from Porto Santo Stefano, turn right to the paved road (such as Cala del Bove) and after a short distance (350 meters) you will reach a gate. From here take a challenging path to arrive to the beach in about 15 minutes.

Winds: the beach is well-protected by the winds.

Notes: the ideal place for a pleasant stay at sea during low season.
